TUITION: Chevy Chase Arts Academy (CCAA) operates year-round and is only closed for major holidays (see our calendar posted on the CCAA website at www.ismw.org). Your monthly tuition is based upon the number of scheduled lessons per month regardless if the lesson is attended or not and is collected by automatic bank account debit or automatic credit card payment on the first of the month. The student’s failure to attend a lesson will not result in any adjustment to the monthly tuition. The monthly tuition payment guarantees that the selected time slot is reserved for you/your child, and it ensures that the instructor is present at CCAA to teach at that time and is fairly compensated for his/her time. If payment is not collected by the 15th of the month, the student’s lessons will be suspended until payment is received. If tuition is not paid by the end of the month, the student’s lesson time will be forfeited and given to another student. CCAA reserves the right to increase tuition fees by a reasonable amount after giving registrants 30 days advanced notice via direct mail, with the understanding that CCAA will keep rates competitive while providing a high quality education.
ATTENDANCE: Regular attendance is expected, as musical instruction is most effective when it is consistent. For any lesson missed by a student, CCAA will offer the opportunity to attend a make-up class. CCAA does NOT issue credits or refund tuition for student-missed lessons for ANY reason. If a private lesson is cancelled because of the faculty’s absence, we will either schedule a substitute teacher or a private make-up lesson will be arranged with your instructor. Students are expected to arrive for lessons on time. In the case of tardiness, a student’s lesson will end at the scheduled time even if that means the student does not receive his/her full lesson time.
WITHDRAWAL: In case a student wishes to stop lessons, the student or parent must notify CCAA in a written form at least 30 days before the last lesson. Under no circumstances will withdrawals be accepted verbally or through a student’s teacher. Non-attendance, verbal communication of intent to withdraw to faculty or staff, or notification by phone do not constitute an official termination notification. The student, parent or guardian is financially responsible for all lessons until the termination date set in the written notice, whether the student chooses to attend or be absent. All automatic bank debit or credit card charges will stop after the one-month notice period. CCAA reserves the right to dismiss any student due to frequent absences, behavioral problems, delinquency in payment of tuition and/or failure to abide by CCAA policies.

Additionally, I waive my rights to prior inspection and approval of the photos, audio or video recordings and their use. I waive any claims, demands, and liabilities against CCAA for taking and using these photos or recordings.
